Stationery

At the old paper mill called 'Le Carte' paper was first made by Enrico Magnani and his family in 1404. This factory last operated in 2012 and is now being converted into a museum. Here the lovely 100% cotton range of stationery called 'Valle dei Fiori' or Valley of Flowers was made. We are lucky to have some of the last remaining stocks of this anywhere in the world.

You will notice that subtlety is a specialty of Magnani Papers. From watermarks through to paper texture and packaging, an elegant touch ensures that this beautiful handmade stationery is appropriate for any use and occasion.

Even the packaging boxes are works of art – we know you will love them as much as the exquisite paper that lies within!

The range consisted A4 sheets with a matching long DL style envelope. There is the double card at 17 x 22 cm that can be folded along the score line to 11 x 17 cm, and the single card at 11 x 17 cm. There are matching envelopes for these. Then there are the small cards at 8.5 x 13.5 cm with a matching small envelope.

Suitable for pen and ink, fountain pen, felt tips and biros, pencil, light painting, can be letterpress or digitally printed. All sheets have four deckle and/or torn edges.
